Test Kits Tk 18591
The Series 18591 Test Kits are handy instruments which simulate RTD or T/C sensors, at 12 discrete Calibration Points (CPs) for the calibration of Electronic Temperature Indicators, Recorders and Controllers. In case of T/C sensors, the Test Kit also incorporates automatic CJ Compensation.
The Test Kits are designed with a precision ladder of metal film resistors and trim pots. The ladder provides the CPs directly for RTDs. In case of T/Cs, the CPs are provided by the ladder and a CJ compensation circuit fed from a precision voltage reference powered with two pen-light cells. A battery monitoring LED indicates the sufficiency of battery voltage for maintaining precision.
